On April 8^th, President Biden signed into law H.R. 7108 the “Suspending Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act.”

All products from Russia or Belarus entered or withdrawn for consumption on or after April 9^th, 2022 are subject to Column 2 duty rates of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).

The President could further increase the rates of duty applicable to products of the Russian Federation and of the Republic of Belarus above the Column 2 rates of duty.
