Beginning July 14, 2021, a temporary suspension prohibiting the entry of live dogs into the U.S. arriving from over 100 high-risk rabies countries.

The suspension is due to a rise in fraudulent rabies certificates. Exceptions may be requested from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) prior to shipping.
