Indonesia Reciprocal Deal Details Available

On February 18, 2026, details on the new reciprocal trade deal between the U.S. and Indonesia were released. While the deal results in no change to the 19% reciprocal tariff rate applied to goods originating in Indonesia, many Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the U.S. (HTSUS) numbers will receive a zero percent reciprocal duty rate. Some HTSUS numbers have restrictions; for example, if they are a civil aircraft part or used for a pharmaceutical application. The details can be found in Schedule 2 of the Tariff Schedule.

The effective date has not been announced yet.
