Argentina Reciprocal Trade Deal Signed

On February 05, 2026, the U.S. Trade Representative and Argentina’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship signed the U.S. – Argentina Agreement on Reciprocal Trade and Investment.

Key Tariff Terms

1. Argentina shall apply a rate of customs duty on an originating good of the United States as set out in Schedule 1 to Annex I.
2. The United States shall apply a revised reciprocal tariff rate on originating goods of Argentina as set out in Schedule 2 to Annex I.

Details – Reciprocal Tariffs

• Schedule 2A: The U.S. shall not apply reciprocal tariffs on certain originating goods of Argentina set out in Schedule 2A [Begins on page 416]
• Schedule B: The U.S. shall apply a zero percent reciprocal tariff rate shall apply to agricultural-related originating goods of Argentina (HTSUS 0808.40.20 – 3301.29.51) as set out in Schedule B [Begins on page 491]
• For all other originating goods of Argentina not described above, the reciprocal rate shall be no higher than 10%.
• The reciprocal rate of duty is in addition to the U.S. MFN rate of duty in effect.
