CBP Launches Forced Labor Portal

Starting January 21, 2026, U.S. importers will be required to submit forced labor review requests through the new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Forced Labor Portal. The portal is a centralized location for submissions of shipments detained or excluded due to forced labor enforcement. Details and documents uploaded are reviewed by CBP personnel in the Forced Labor Division, the Port of Entry, or the Center of Excellence and Expertise.

  • Withhold Release Order (WRO)/Finding admissibility reviews
  • Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) applicability reviews
  • Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) requests for exception
  • Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) exception requests
