No AD/CVD for Aluminum Extrusions from 14 Countries

On October 30, 2024, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) announced aluminum extrusions from China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam do not materially injure U.S. industry. Therefore, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) will not be issuing antidumping or countervailing duty orders on these imports. A report will be available by December 10, 2024 on the ITC website.

AD/CVD deposits paid to U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) in relation to this investigation will be refunded to importers by CBP.

• October 24, 2023, Commerce initiated its less-than-fair-value and countervailing duty investigations on aluminum extrusions.
• May 27, 2024, CBP started collecting AD/CVD deposits.
• September 27, 2024, Commerce announced affirmative final determinations of aluminum extrusions from 14 countries.
