UFLPA Webinars Announced

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Trade Relations will host three webinars, providing an overview of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA). Enforcement of UFLPA begins June 21, 2022.

Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. EDT - Registration

Tuesday, June 7, 2022, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EDT - Registration

Thursday, June 16, 2022, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EDT - Registration

The UFLPA presumes the importation of any goods, wares, articles, and merchandise mined, produced, or manufactured wholly or in part in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, or produced by certain entities, is prohibited for entry to the U.S. unless CBP determines the importer of record has complied with specified conditions and, by clear and convincing evidence, that the goods, wares, articles, or merchandise were not produced using forced labor.
