International freight forwarding agent, NNR Global Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd celebrated its 25th anniversary at Saujana Hotel, innovatively integrating a sumptuous Company Dinner and Long Service staff awards, with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) gesture.
At NNR, Logistics has no boundaries, Charity has no boundaries either.
Since Malaysia has an alarming statistics exceeding half a million persons with disabilities (PWD) registered with the Social Welfare Department, Damai Disabled Persons Association and Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Ekliptik Klang (PJKKEK) were the chosen beneficiaries for NNR Malaysia’s CSR 2019 corporate initiative to give back to the community. In addition, Rumah Jalinan Kasih Anak-Anak Yatim Miskin Selangor and PAWS Animal Welfare Society were also included in the CSR effort.
Cheques presentation took place where the Managing Director of NNR Malaysia, Mr. YL Chan handed over four (4) cheques of RM10,000 each to Mr. Nagayah Karuppan (Committee Member of Damai), Mr. N.Morgun (Founder of PJKKEK), Ms. Amirah Syafiqah (Secretary of RJK Anak Yatim) and Mr. Edward Lim (Shelter Manager of PAWS).
NNR Malaysia’s passion and commitment to CSR began in 2017 with painting and repair works for old folks’ home, feeding and spending time with the elderly at PJ Caring Home. Since then, NNR has participated in several other social campaigns in 2018 including a movie outing with orphans themed “Nurturing Young Minds with a Cinematic Experience”, helping to transport a few wishing wells from overseas for Penang Adventist Hospital to facilitate donations for heart patients and all year round recycling efforts.
