By In ニュース On 8th February 2016

NNR Global Logistics will shortly open a new subsidiary in Australia

To strengthen our global logistics network, Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. will acquire a 100% shareholding of a highly successful local Australian logistics company. After acquisition, the new company name will be changed to NNR Global Logistics Australia Pty Ltd, which is our 21st overseas subsidiary among the NNR group.

NNR Global Logistics Australia Pty Ltd will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd. and will begin operations as “NNR Australia” from 1st March, 2016.  In the company’s ‘Region 5’ [Asia-Oceania], this is the 9th NNR subsidiary.

The Group have been investigating the market potential and opportunities through our previously established liaison office in Sydney and are confident that continuous growth in global logistics within Oceania regions along with the developments of JAEPA (Japan Australia Economic Partnership Agreement) and TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) can be expected in the Australian market.

Our goal is to provide a high quality service to all customers by increasing the volume of our business and expansion of our network.
